Which model should I choose?
Leave it on “General (recommended)” — it works on almost anything: logos, signatures, products, animals and people. Only switch to “People / Portrait” for photos of a person, where it is faster and very accurate on hair and skin. Note that People / Portrait erases non-people images such as signatures or logos, so do not use it for those.
Is there a watermark or sign-up?
Neither. The tool is completely free, adds no watermark, and requires no account. You download a clean transparent PNG.
What image formats can I use?
You can upload JPG, PNG or WebP images. The output is always a PNG, because PNG supports the transparency created when the background is removed.
