Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the background white?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas of the SVG are filled with white. If you need to keep transparency, use our SVG to PNG tool instead.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Yes. Rasterising an SVG faithfully — fonts, gradients and all — is done by server-side software rather than the browser, so the file is uploaded briefly. It is isolated and erased once the JPG is sent.
Is it free? Is there a watermark or size limit?
